Kubernetes on a deliberate, minimal foundation.

Talos Linux, GitOps and operational discipline. We build platforms that can be understood, changed and recovered.

Why we use Talos Linux

Our Kubernetes infrastructure runs on Talos Linux. It is a minimal operating system designed specifically for Kubernetes, with immutable system files and API-based administration. There is no SSH service or general-purpose shell. Node administration uses mutual TLS authentication.

Secure defaults need careful operation

A smaller operating-system surface is a useful foundation. Workload isolation, network policy, identity, secret management and application configuration still need deliberate design. We treat operating-system security and workload security as connected responsibilities.

Changes that can be reviewed

Declarative configuration and GitOps keep the intended state in version control. Changes can be reviewed before reconciliation, with health checks and rollback considerations included in the delivery process. We verify the actual workload rather than relying only on a successful pipeline.

A platform sized for the workload

We clarify availability needs, storage, backup and restore requirements before selecting the topology. Resource requests, placement and failure domains need to match the application. The handover includes the operational decisions and responsibilities required to maintain the platform.
